MAGE stands for Mechanical, Administrative, General, and Electrical. Air Force and Space Force career matching uses those aptitude areas after the basic AFQT qualification layer.
Is MAGE the same as AFQT?
No. AFQT is the enlistment qualification percentile. MAGE scores help with Air Force and Space Force career-field matching after basic qualification.
Does a MAGE result guarantee an Air Force or Space Force job?
No. Final access depends on official scores, current openings, medical standards, citizenship, security screening, education rules, waivers, and recruiter confirmation.
